Successful test of a drying system for radioactive waste materials

As part of an exciting project, KIMA has developed and successfully tested a state-of-the-art drying system together with its customer. The system, specially designed for drying solid and liquid radioactive waste, enables safe, fully automatic drying and adaptation to different waste packages - a real added value in the process!

The modular, plug-and-play design enables rapid installation at the end customers' site. In addition to the plug and play application, operation via the remote WinCC control panel is designed to be intuitive.

The project manager on the customer side, Felix Riedel, is satisfied: “The cooperation was once again excellent. The preliminary test setup at KIMA gives us the security we need for smooth commissioning at the end customer.”
