Requalification – production in accordance with North American safety standard UL508A

Our colleagues Sebastian and Matthias have successfully passed the follow-up examination for the MTR Qualification Examination in accordance with UL 508A and are therefore still officially qualified as Manufacturer Technical Representatives (MTR). This qualification confirms their expertise in the application of the North American safety standard UL 508A, which regulates the requirements for the construction of industrial control cabinets.
As a certified UL 508A panel shop, KIMA has been authorised to design, build and label control and load control cabinets in accordance with UL standards since 2011.

Compliance with this standard ensures that the products meet the requirements of the North American market - particularly with regard to electrical safety, conformity to standards and test procedures.
