The new building, purchased in 2006, becomes a mechanical processing centre for our switchgear cabinet production; a training workshop for trainees is built. Start of construction for an office wing adjoining the hall at the end of the year.
Additional offices are installed and occupied above the social rooms of the assembly hall. KIMA has reached 50 employees.

Delivery of the first cement plant complete with medium voltage technology to Bangladesh.
A new building for the switchgear production and further offices were built, which were moved into in January 2000. The number of employees had meanwhile risen to 38.

Meanwhile, we are "certified Siemens Solution - Partner" for the areas Automation, HMI, Simatic Net and PCS7 with the qualification HMI Specialist and IndustryPartner Water/Waste water.
10th company anniversary as part of an in-house exhibition with a large number of customers and employees. Prior to this, the first extension of our company building was completed, as more than 24 employees were already part of the KIMA team.
After a preparation period of approx. 6 months, TÜV Cert certified KIMA a QMS according to ISO 9001 in April 1996.
The first graduate student is accompanied at KIMA to become an electrical engineer.
Construction of an own company building at the current company headquarters. This building, with 10 offices and a 225 m³ workshop for the construction of switch cabinets, was moved into in mid-1994 with 22 employees at that time.
1991 - 1994:
Development of an in-house cement standard with Simatic S5 under the name "Standard modules for interlinked material transport".
The first trainee is hired. KIMA achieves a turnover of DM 1 million for the first time with already 11 employees.
The portfolio has been expanded to include the supply of completely wired switchgear cabinets. For this purpose, a new building with approx. 100 sqm was rented and the in-house production of control systems was started. In the meantime, our first CAD system (Caddy from Ziegler) was also in use and the number of employees reached the double-digit range.
Foundation of KIMA Gesellschaft für elektronische Steuerungs-technik und Konstruktion mbH on September 05, 1987 by Jürgen Petruschke with 3 freelancers. The first orders were for engineering, software development and commissioning of transport systems, palletizers and packaging systems.
